Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 has a variety of modes as listed right off the hop. Being able to play with friends and/or bots in both online and or in co-op in almost any mode really gives the players the freedom to choose as to which way they so choose to play without much hassle and while the balancing of playing against others may fringe from time to time, you should be able to compete each and every match, just as long you don’t end up facing up against the David Beckham’s of the virtual pitch. It doesn’t go far beyond as to what was previously offered, but these modes are still stellar ways to take a dive as to what the entire franchise has to offer on a smaller more personal scope.Īs it is with many sports games nowadays, is that both cooperative and online play are a major component of the entire experience and Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 follows that model too much success. While not much has changed over the course of a year, these modes do offer a great way for new and returning players to learn the new mechanics and physics offered in the game all while given a way to test your skills before taking on the bests of the online world. My first time with Pro Evolution Soccer was with last years entry and I absolutely adored the single player experiences between the GM and Become a Legend mode and still enjoyed myself this time around. While the refs still need a bit of work when it comes to inconsistent calls on the pitch, it is apparent that the real work came down to delivering the utmost realistic soccer experience and Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 achieves that feat in stellar fashion. It really changes the dynamic of the entire sports genre and Konami should be commended in going ahead and reworking on how any soccer title should play and feel. Utilizing these new skills in every given situation really sets up a standard for future installments as well as competing titles in the genre and for sports games in general. This even trickles down to penalty kicks and saves from the goalkeeper making every aspect of the game as important as ever. This also carries over with the AI as they will also try to put these new core mechanics to good use and being able to pull them off, whether it be against the computer or anyone online is a rewarding and satisfying feeling. These realistic game mechanics really does change the entire way to playing soccer as being able to use this new found skills onto the pitch will drastically benefit the way you play the game. From aerial passes, shots, deeks, crossovers, and much more are fine-tuned to deliver on a gratifying and fluid style of gameplay never seen before. What becomes apparent at first glance in Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 is the changes and the effort to refine the core mechanics of this virtual soccer experience. Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 is even bigger and better than anything before it and could be considered the ultimate soccer experience. This year’s version of PES delivers the same gratifying action that we’ve come to know and love and even more game modes and gameplay mechanics to get any soccer fan roaring and cheering for the virtual pitch.
Last year, we were greeted with a fantastic sporting experience with Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 that really changed the perspective as to what it meant to be a sports game with its dynamic style of gameplay and an unprecedented amount of content.
